Bluefin Tuna Belly (Otoro/Chutoro)

Fresh New Zealand caught Southern Bluefin Tuna. Sustainably caught by local commercial fishers adhering to Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna (CCSBT).

The belly (Otoro or Chutoro depending on the specific cut), or underside, of the fish and has the highest fat content — otoro translates to 'big fat'. Because of this fattiness, the otoro falls apart easily and can quite literally melt in your mouth.

All fish is hand cut to order by our team as desired and packaged appropriately. As a fresh product, the fish can be frozen down or consumed raw.
